All ChatterBox accounts are created and managed by parents or legal guardians who are at least 18 years old. By creating an account, providing payment information, and activating service for your child, you acknowledge that you are the parent or legal guardian with authority to consent on behalf of the child who will use this service. Your continued subscription constitutes your verifiable parental consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of information as described in this Privacy Policy.

As a telecommunications provider, we are subject to federal regulations regarding Customer Proprietary Network Information ("CPNI").
CPNI includes information about the telecommunications services you purchase from us, how you use those services, and related billing information. Your telephone number, name, and address are NOT considered CPNI.
We use CPNI to provide and bill for telecommunications services, to protect against fraud, and for other purposes permitted by law. We do NOT use CPNI to market products or services to you.
You have the right to request information about what CPNI we hold about your account. Contact us at privacy@chatterboxphone.com to make a request.
We implement safeguards to protect CPNI from unauthorized access, including employee training, access controls, and security procedures. We will notify you and the appropriate authorities if we become aware of any breach of your CPNI.
We do NOT sell your personal information, including information about children, to third parties for any purpose.
We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including telecommunications carriers for call routing, payment processors for billing, and E911 service providers for emergency services. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us.
When you dial 911, we transmit your registered address, callback number, and other information necessary for emergency response to the appropriate Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) and emergency services.

You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting us. We will comply with your request within 45 days, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records.
You may opt out of promotional communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in our emails. You cannot opt out of transactional communications related to your service (such as billing notices and service alerts).
You may delete voicemail recordings at any time through the parent portal. You may also disable voicemail entirely through your account settings.
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah) may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain data practices. Contact us to exercise your rights under applicable state law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website at least thirty (30) days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
